Data beats narrative.

I studied Aerospace Engineering because complex systems fascinate me. Rockets, satellites, the kind of projects where failure is not an option. But halfway through, I realized what excited me most wasn't designing the parts — it was making the whole project work. The team, the strategy, the decisions.

In 2017, I co-founded Stratolloon with Alex Caballero. We started in hardware, pivoted to software — a satellite-data analytics platform for insurance and geointelligence. Along the way, we earned recognition from ESA (2017 and 2018), the European Commission, Banco Santander, and Indra.

Awards and recognition are good credentials. But they don't build a business. After a few years of building and iterating, not achieving what we hoped Stratolloon could be, we made the hard call to stop. That decision shaped how I work today: be honest about what works and what doesn't. Separate signal from noise.

After that, I worked in data and innovation consulting — turning analysis into real business decisions and mentoring early-stage startups on finding actual use cases. One project I liked: analyzing how the Ukraine war affected a client's raw material costs and what that meant for their business.

Today, as Head of Product & AI at GPTadvisor, I build generative AI tools for private banking and wealth management. Major banks across Europe and LATAM use our platform. Thousands of advisors rely on it daily.

I also build my own tools. sancho.vc tools offers tax optimization calculators for Spanish investors. Portfolio Stats helps retail investors analyze their portfolios. I enjoy making useful things that don't exist yet but should.

If there's one thing I've learned across all of these — from a startup to working with banks — it's that teams build products, not individuals. The technology matters, but the people matter more.

From idea to vision to execution. Turning concepts into products with great teams.
