engineer, founder,
product leader
I studied Aerospace Engineering at UPV (opens in new tab) because complex systems fascinate me. Rockets, satellites, the kind of projects where failure is not an option. But halfway through, I realized what excited me most wasn't designing the parts — it was making the whole project work. The team, the strategy, the decisions.
That led me to study a Master in Startup Management, where I discovered the world of product and entrepreneurship.
In 2017, I co-founded Stratolloon (opens in new tab) with Alex Caballero (opens in new tab). We started in hardware, pivoted to software — a satellite-data analytics platform for insurance and geointelligence.
Along the way, we earned recognition from ESA (2017 and 2018), the European Commission, Banco Santander, and Indra.

Awards and recognition are good credentials. But they don't build a business. After a few years of building and iterating, not achieving what we hoped Stratolloon could be, we made the hard call to stop. That decision shaped how I work today: be honest about what works and what doesn't. Separate signal from noise.
In between, I helped design an entrepreneurship program at UPV (opens in new tab) with UC Berkeley — evaluating 200+ applicants and recruiting faculty with real startup experience.
Then I spent three years in data and innovation consulting. I helped companies understand what their data was actually telling them. One standout project had me mapping how the Ukraine war was hitting a client's raw material supply and what it meant for their margins. I also mentored early-stage founders, helping them find real use cases and avoid the traps I'd already walked into.
Today, as Head of Product & AI at GPTadvisor (opens in new tab), I lead a cross-functional team building generative AI tools for private banking and wealth management. Our platform uses retrieval-augmented generation tuned for each bank's documentation and product catalog. Major banks across Europe and LATAM rely on it — thousands of advisors use it daily.

Outside of that, I build my own tools. sancho.vc tools (opens in new tab) offers tax optimization calculators for Spanish investors. Portfolio Stats (opens in new tab) helps retail investors analyze their portfolios. If something I need doesn't exist, I make it.
From idea to vision to execution. It always comes down to the team.
