from Aerospace to AI
Product Leader
Technology only matters when it makes people better at what they do.
I studied Aerospace Engineering, drawn to rockets and satellites — but more than anything to the rigour required when failure is not an option.
In 2017, that curiosity led me to start Stratolloon with Alex Caballero, initially as an ESA competition project. We turned satellite data into actionable insights for insurers and climate-focused industries, joining EIT Climate-KIC and earning recognition from the European Commission, ESA, Indra, and Banco Santander.
In 2021, our team was acquired by a Spanish consulting firm in the AI space. After that, I worked as a consultant in data and innovation. One project involved helping a manufacturing client quantify how the war in Ukraine was impacting their raw material costs and quality, and turning that analysis into concrete sourcing and pricing decisions — the kind of work where data actually drives decisions, not just dashboards. I also mentored early-stage startups across international programmes, focusing on finding real use cases and avoiding solution-first pitches.
Today, as Head of Product & AI at GPTadvisor, I lead generative AI products for private banking and wealth management, working with international banks across Europe and LATAM to augment relationship managers rather than replace them. Our tools are used every month by thousands of advisors embedded in their day-to-day advisory workflows.”
Aerospace, analytics, or AI for finance — the goal is the same: understand the real problem, and build the thing that actually solves it.
